FSU Athletics Are Unconquered…Mostly
"they are currently ranked #1 in the country with a record of 12-0…"
We all know how devastating the last 2 years of FSU Football have truly been. A record of 12-13, losing a National Championship winning coach in Jimbo Fisher and snapping our 30+ year winning seasons and bowl streak. Bottom line: IT SUCKS. Football is currently at an all-time low but the rest of FSU athletics are currently on fire.
FSU Softball is coming off a National Championship season and they look to be on the path to repeating. They are currently ranked #1 in the country with a record of 12-0 and coming off 3 straight top ten wins. FSU Women’s Soccer team is coming off their 2nd National Championship in the last five years and returns the majority of their team for another run at the title.
FSU Basketball is also peaking at the right time. The Women’s team is currently ranked #22 in the country with a 21-5 record. The Men’s Basketball team is coming off an amazing year last year that ended with an appearance in the Elite Eight and was just minutes away from making the Final Four. They are currently ranked #16 in the country and also have a record of 21-5. They are also currently on an eight game winning streak.
FSU is currently ranked in the top five in both Men’s and Women’s Track and Field. Men are ranked #3 and the Women are ranked #5. Both FSU Tennis teams are sitting inside the Top 25 with the Men’s team at #22 and the Women’s team at #20. FSU Women’s Beach Volleyball lost in the National Championship game.
Finally, you all know my passion for FSU Baseball. They are currently ranked #6 in the country and two of the Cup To Cup crew have picked them to win the National Championship during 11’s final season. #OneLastRun. I have a good feeling about this FSU Baseball team.
As you can see, Seminole Athletics are looking good right now (minus the football team). Football is going through a rough patch, but give it time. We are making changes and this year will decide if Taggart is the right guy. The entire Cup To Cup crew bleeds Garnet and Gold. It’s always a great time to be an FSU fan. GO NOLES!!
